I thought I would take a look at the Weslo Pro CTX Indoor Cycle today because a lot of people may not have come across this particular exercise bike before.
This low-cost bike first went on sale a few years ago now, so it is still relatively new.
Subsequently it doesn’t have a great deal of customer reviews as of yet, but the early reviews have been fairly positive, and it looks as if the Weslo Pro CTX could be quite a good investment for those people who don’t want to spend a lot of money on one of these machines.

Pros And Cons
I have listed all of the main benefits above, but it is worth reiterating that this Weslo Pro CTX exercise bike is strong, sturdy and comfortable, and will give you a very realistic riding experience due to the reasonably large flywheel and the positioning of the seat and handlebars.
Plus it arrives almost fully assembled, and alhough it does make some noise, it is also fairly quiet in operation, which is essential when buying a home exercise bike.
If you are into spinning or interval training, this is an indoor cycling bike that is designed for this purpose. So you should be able to perform all of your favorite exercises and workout routines on this particular machine, and burn hundreds of calories in the process.
However because it is an indoor cycling bike, it obviously doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles that ordinary exercise bikes do.
For example, there is no computer console included with this bike, so you won’t be able to monitor your time, speed, distance or calories burned. Indeed other than a water bottle holder, there are no extras at all, just like so many other spin bikes.
If you would like some of these extra features, you might want to take a look at some of the upright bikes instead.
User Feedback
Those people that have actually purchased this Weslo Pro bike seem to be very happy with their purchase because if you check out some of the feedback on various different sites, it has received a number of positive comments.
People have commented on the fact that it was very easy to assemble, and is quite a strong machine that seems to have a large weight capacity.
People also seem to like the fact that it looks fantastic, is generally very comfortable and functions well as an indoor cycling bike.
With regards to the negatives, there have been some complaints about the connections and the welding on this bike, whilst others have said that the seat is a little uncomfortable.
On the whole, though, there have been more positive comments than negative ones, and it’s worth remembering that this is one of the least expensive indoor cycling bikes on the market, so it’s unrealistic to expect a really top quality machine for this price.

This Weslo Pro CTX Indoor Cycle was available to buy online in a few different places at the time of writing this review, but it now seems to be out of stock everywhere I look, including Amazon.
In fact I think it may have been discontinued because it’s no longer listed on the official Weslo website.
In which case you might want to consider taking a look at some of the other indoor cycling bikes that are available in this price category, such as the Sunny Pro Indoor Cycling Bike or the Fitleader FS1, for instance, because these are both excellent value for money.
